Syllabus

1st Home-work
In the computer classes you learned how to generate experimentally a sampling distribution. Use what you learned to illustrate the Central Limit Theorem. Due date is Friday the 4th of April.

Difference of Two Means Test

Final Home-work (year 06-07)

Old exam

2nd Home-work
Illustrate by simulation that the probability of making Type I error is the critical level you chose when doing the hypothesis test, alfa. You have to turn in the program and a page with the explanation.
Due date is Tuesday May 13th (you can send it by e-mail).

In this exercise you had to generate m times,  samples of size n from a distribution of known mean and variance. Then, for every sample you had to calculate the sample mean and test if you would reject or not the null hypothesis of the mean being the true (known) mean, and calculate how many times you rejected that true hypothesis.

Presentations: We will meet in aula 20 (it was the regular class on fridays) on Monday, the 2nd of June, at 10. See you all there.
