NEWS Salvador Barberà Awarded Prestigious Rei Jaume I Prize The Barcelona Graduate School of Economics will launch the first edition of the MSc in Macroeconomic Policy and Financial Markets in the Bellaterra Campus. The program director is Albert Marcet, and Juan Carlos Conesa is the deputy director Professor Inés Macho-Stadler was recently elected to serve on the EARIE Executive Commitee for a mandate of five years beginning immediately following the General Assembly. The research team composed by Salvador Barbera, Jordi Massó, Carmen Beviá, Caterina Calsamiglia, Miguel Angel Ballester, Guillaume Haeringer, Xavier Vilà y Sebastian Bervoets, has been awarded a 5-year research project on "Institutional Design and Good Governmental Practice: Theory, Applications and Simulations " by the Ministry of Science and Innovation. The Asociación Española de Economía de la Salud (Spanish Health Economics Association) has awarded Pau Olivella (UAB and CODE) the Prize for the Best Article in Health Economics 2007 Xavier Martinez-Giralt and David Perez-Castrillo participate in WP5 (Financial Approach) coordinated by the ESS-Bilbao Consortium and WP7 (Governance), coordinated by Lund University Calvó-Armengol International Prize Inauguration |
