The director of the Departament d’Economia i d’Història Econòmica at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona is pleased to invite you to the Inaugural Lecture of the International Doctorate in Economic Analysis (IDEA), which will take place on Friday, October  10th at noon in the Sala d’Actes of the Facultat de Ciències Econòmiques i Empresarials at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

- The “Francesc Marmol Lecture” in honor of our former IDEA graduate will be given by Dr. Begoña Domínguez from the  University of Auckland and the Institute of Economic Analysis, CSIC and will bear the title “Optimal Taxation without Commitment”.

- The Inaugural Conference will be given by Professor Ken Singleton, from the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University and will bear the title “Estimation and Evaluation of Conditional Asset Pricing Models”.
